Oliver W. Colbert, the author of the collection of poems titled "Dope and Dangerous", founder and CEO of Writer's League and host of "Oliver and Co. Podcast" joins Naja Imanion episode four of "Let's Talk About It Podcast". Colbert has worked with Vlad TV and was a contributor to HotNewHip-Hip.comColbert speaks about purpose versus popularity and how having a large following and amount of views is necessary to get a seat at certain tables but, not required to achieve the agenda that one has. In Colbert's case his agenda would be reaching people that would actually enjoy and glean from what he is sharing.

He speaks about being a brand and building without sacrificing your soul in the name of "success". He defines that for himself and reaches who is able to through his gifts of writing and speaking.  Colbert discusses African-American roots and the grave difference between African and African-American culture.
